Ulrika was born and raised in Sweden. She moved to Canada in 1999. Ulrika was fascinated by, and drawn to the world of dance as a young girl. At the age of 10, she began receiving ballet and jazz instruction.
Later in life, after three years of advanced dance studies, Ulrika graduated from the Ballet Academy in Gothenburg, Sweden. Her studies included Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Tap, Musical Theatre and National; as well as Dance Theory, Dance History, anatomy, and Choreography.
Ulrika demonstrated her abilities when she danced professionally for Openwide Entertainment; a U.K. based company, which produces Broadway-style shows for the cruise industry. Ulrika has been teaching at several reputable dance schools in and around Toronto for the past 10 years.
Ulrika is a versatile dancer and teacher; she enjoys the challenges of teaching different age groups. Natural and playful, Ulrika brings an inspirational attitude to her teaching, which she tries to impart on her students.
